What one item do you always bring?

Universal remote for the cabin TV. It allows me to access functions typically not available on the cabin remote, like the input button so I can hook up my laptop (providing the inputs are not locked out on the TV itself). Plus you have a more familiar (ours is also back-lit) remote to use when you're watching TV at night with the cabin lights off.

Ditto :D:')

To me a corkscrew only counts as a basic thing. I can't imagine being on vacation and not having one with me. But then we always have a wine and (locally sourced) cheese night in our hotel room while on land, and always have our 2 cabin bottles of wine to open while on a cruise.

You would be surprised how many people don't bring one and regret it ;)
