Crafts on Princess

Does Princess still do "arts & crafts" on their ships? In the past they had card making and ceramics.

There were some crafts listed in the Patters on our recent Princess cruise. I didn't pay much attention as I'm not crafty, so I can't remember what they were. Maybe just on sea days?

In January on the Ruby they had a few different offerings including paper flowers, origami, and a water painting class. Both sea days and port days. Of those I listed only the water painting class had an additional fee. There may have been more but that is what I remember.

how far in the past were the ceramics?

In January on Crown & Regal it was painting in the Piazza and Origami. That was all!

on Star in Alaska last June we had paper flowers, card making and luggage tag making

on Crown this early feb we had box making, napkin folding, mask making for mardi gras (very fun). and I think something else

oh and they also had free watercolor painting in the piazza. (on the Crown this feb)

I remember that! Often enough, the person in charge was a crew member who wasn't prepared...or didn't show up. I went to a couple of them, one being photography. Another was needlepoint making a bookmark. Sadly, a failed experiment. Many cruises will have needlework/knitting groups gathering informally on sea days. Check the patter.

I know on the Hawaii cruises there is a Lei making class and you can take Ukulele lessons.

I'd like to hear more. We're going to Hawaii and with so many sea days I don't want my butt going flat from just reading all day. :D

It's been several years since I've seen Princess offer ceramics at sea. As someone who has a kiln, I can't imagine loading one to withstand possible rough seas.
