Venice Transportation for Group of 10 from Hotel to Port

Best way to get from the hotel to the port. Since most of the transportation is by Boat, how does everyone get all their bags in the boat. I see most transportation tours only let you have 1 piece of luggage. Any Tips? Guess I need to learn how to pack light

There were eight of us. We used Zip Transfers last year and they were great. We purchased the larger boat to provide extra room for luggage. We each had a checked bag, flight bag and personal item. If you haven't found a hotel yet, I have stayed twice here and HIGHLY recommend, just don't stay in the annex. The water taxi lets off RIGHT at the hotel as well. http://www.lapalazzinaveneziana.it/
