I just wondered if anyone had done one and wether they thought it was worth it?

I’m considering doing it as a surprise for my parents but as my father is terminally ill I would want to check the words they use and also want to ensure they doubt spoil the surprise as it’s my mother who is the lead booker.

We did it for our golden anniversary on Discovery last year and it was excellent.

You will have a meeting with the social hostess prior to the event and go over the procedure and, importantly, the words. She will send you a draft of the words to your cabin.

They will do it very professionally and ensure secrecy.

It was held on the bridge with the captain on a port day, and it was a very moving ceremony.

We thought it was money exceptionally well spent.
