Enjoy your cruise and don't forget the Passport.

If Vito Catu is onboard could you kindly ask him if he'll be on for the Rome to Abu Dhabi repositioning.

LOL - I will never live that one down. The passport is the first thing packed.

Will check for Vito. Where does he work?

We were in bed early (for Spain) and decided to set the alarm for 8:30 AM. If any of you are like me, I did not sleep well with the excitement of boarding. I was awake at 6:30 and decided to get up and finish tidying up the apartment before we left.

it is now 9:00 AM and we are just sipping our last cup of coffee before our short walk to the train station. The streets are so narrow in Old Town Sitges that it is difficult for cabs to get down them.

Arrived at the terminal around noon and were aboard in less than 10 minutes. We are having a soda in Michael’s Club. Luminea is open until 2:00 PM today so will probably push off lunch until around 1:30.

Michael’s Club was upgraded since last time aboard with a coffee station where the wine cooler use to be, new chairs and drapes in the circular area where the piano is.

We have set sail promptly at 5:00 PM.

We have been busy getting all the little things sorted out in our Royal Suite. This is the first time we have sailed in Constellations RS since she went into Dry Dock.

For the most part we are happy with the refurbishment of the suite. It actually feels larger as they have taken out the round alcove with display cases and replaced it with a stylish dining area. Not sure how effective the bankett seating is. The first time I tried it out I smashed my shin against the curved legs on the base of the dining table.

We are very impressed with the new fully remodeled bathroom. They have put in all new floor, wall covering, Jet Tub and new Rainforest Shower. The only negative we see is the light in the stand alone shower is extremely dim (maybe 15 watts or less) making it look like a dark cave.

Pictures to follow... I have a tendency to write my blog using my PC and using the Forum App to post pictures from my iPhone.

We had a nice lazy evening aboard Constellation last night. Drinks in Michael's Club. It was very quiet in there but had an opportunity to get to chat with John the MCC. He replaced Jono a week ago. John hails from Columbia but had lived in Oxford, England for a long time. The bartender is Adrian.

We ate in Luminea an had Mateo as our waiter. We have sailed with Mateo before and he recognized us instantly. Iain had a smoked salmon for a starter while I had Pork Belly. For our main course we both had the Turbot.

Being tired we retired before midnight.

I knocked out cold and was awakened by the phone ringing at 9:00 AM by the butler standing outside my door with our breakfast. Very unusual for me and I had to scramble to find a robe to greet him. I'm sure I must have looked like a zombie.

I pulled opened the curtains to a beautiful view of Cannes. we are probably just going to explore on our own today. Not quite sure where we are going but that is the fun of exploring.

Enjoying following your report....

If John is the same concierge we had on our Norwegian cruise (Eclipse) last year you will be well looked after.

If it is the same John he may remember us, we were in the PH and I was on crutches. Whilst we have been escorted off ship at the end of cruises before he helped us right to where we collected our car... above and beyond care we really appreciated...Please send him our best wishes!

Love reading your first report onboard. Loved looking at the daily schedule, since we will be on the Connie in a few weeks. We have never sailed with Celebrity, so I am really enjoying your posts and photos. Thanks so much!

I'll try to keep posting the dailies. There is so much information. I find the first day schedule to be especially helpful as it highlights in Bold the days that are Chic nights.

I will ask him later today. He's really a nice man and very efficient. I know he has been on Silhouette and I believe he mentioned Eclipse. He will be switching to Millennium for the TP in September which we will also be on.

We were pleased to learn that Pricilla from Infinity has been promoted to Suites Manager on Summit. She will be perfect in her new role.
