Vancouver BC Embarkation Process

We will be embarking the SOJOURN in the near future. We do not have a pre-cruise transfer package thru Seabourn so we will be on our own from the Fairmont Pacific Rim hotel to the Canada Place Cruise Terminal. We plan on walking from the hotel with our luggage to Canada Place. Looking for the best advice and directions to where we drop off our luggage and from there directions to the start of the passenger check-in process.

The bellman at the Fairmont will bring your luggage over to the drop off point at the terminal. This is a service they will provide to hotel guests cruising out of the terminal.

We took a taxi (short ride) but they dropped us directly where the porters are. (Our taxi driver was guided in that direction at the entrance.) From there, it was clear where to go... no confusion.

As I recall (and it was last year so I’ve traveled a lot since), the porter area was in a garage type area. My thought was that it was a lot easier to arrive by car and be dropped at the right spot than to try to navigate up the long promenade.
