Has anyone ever stayed in the most forward cabins on the Allure or the Oasis? These are oceanview cabins that look out over the bow of the ship. I'm curious to know what did you think regarding motion, noise and such and which deck you were on. Please share! :)

We are considering booking a cabin on the Rhapsody of the Seas 7Night Sawyer Glacier cruise leaving Vancouver on 16 May. RCI seem to have reasonable prices on G2 large ocean view cabins on deck 4. But I notice that there are a string of cabins on the starboard side which seem to have remained unsold now for a while. Are there any particular problems with these cabins? I have read that there may be some noise issues with the casino and theatre being above these cabins but have not noticed any actual problems reported in the forum. Appreciate any comments you may have and whether there are any problems with these cabins.

Another query - what difference is there, if any, between the various cabin grades G1,G2, H and I cabins? Looking at the floor plans they all seem to be the same. Is it simply the location on the ship that determines whether a cabin is G1/2, H or I?

Thanks in advance for your advice.

We are going on Harmony of the Sea in Sept. We want a balcony room with sofa and the bed rear the balcony, would like to be on Deck 6, noone seems to have the room configurations of this new ship. How can you book a room, we do not want the bed to be next to the closet, we want it near the balcony.

On Allure of the Seas, anyone with experience with Cabins on Deck Six at the front of the ship that sits over the Amber Theatre ? Any noise issues at night? Deck 7 above is just cabins so that is OK just worried if below you hear the noise coming up.

Thanks everyone!

We just booked 9200 on the harmony. Does anyone have any input on this one? We've never been on the oasis class

Hello all, we are cruising on the Harmony in March . We booked cabin 12303 on the boardwalk, does anyone have any input on this cabin? We read that some people on other Oasis class found it a bit noisy from the boardwalk, but also heard that the Harmony has improved balcony doors that reduce noise. Any thoughts?

Hi... we just booked liberty of the seas category 1K deck 9 stateroom# 9500 for next year .... has anyone booked that one? We just got back from our cruise but we had interrior room in mid ship. So the 9500 we just booked is on front of ship & a bit not sure how the motion feeling of the ship will be compared to mid ship (which we didn’t have any motion sickness) on that part of the ship.

Just back from Seward to Vancouver on RC Radiance. Not sure I’d recommend deck 10, port, forward location. We were in 1018 (balcony) and did experience some middle of the night noise...rearranging deck chairs? Not enough to ruin our trip but we decided we’d stick with our favorite deck 9 location in the future.

Does anyone know what is across the hall from Room 6214 on Symphony of the Seas? The deck plan shows an "unoccupied" space, but now I'm stressing that it's something crew related, or part of the Schooner Bar. Thanks for any info.
