Dinner and show booking question

Hi All

Our first MSC cruise in just a couple of weeks.

We have three cabins. If I book dinner and shows for all of us, do we need to take / make the dinner and show bookings at the same time or can we do them at different times?

We have some young children with us so would like to do it separately.

You can book shows at different times.
