Small Fans

I am going on a cruise in July. Does Princess have small fans on board if I request one for our room for noise or do I need to bring my own? Thank you.

I bring my IPad and use the Bed Time Fan app.

It’s perfect for me. I was always carrying a fan and

extension cord. Don’t know if there is an Android version.

Make sure to keep tablet on airplane mode.

I use the TV, set it to the webcam, TV is dark but there is background music. Being in an inside cabin, when the TV gets bright again, time to get up! I can't sleep in total quiet.

I bring a small battery operated fan no need to plug in. I think I bought it at Wal-Mart. Just bring back up batteries also.

There's lots of great apps out there. I have been using one called "Sleep Machine" for almost 10 years! Lots of different sounds...you can even mix them. There are also small fans you can now attach to your smart phone and they will run as long as they are plugged into the phone!

Me too. Used to take a battery one, but it used up the batteries too quickly and spare ones were heavy and expensive. I need the noise and breeze.

Good to know we can take a small fan. I like mine for the noise, but I need the cooling since I hit "a certain age" :)

I often wonder what it's like to have total quiet. I've had loud ringing in my ears for so long now. I envy those who can have quiet.

I can hear my wife telling be what to do all the time puts me to sleep...:D:D:D

I had to follow up on this. We used this app during our cruise and it worked great! I always carry my iPad and played the app at night with the iPad plugged in. You can even set a timer. I never thought about checking for a fan app before!

If you are going on the Royal Princess it has a sleep mode on the TV. Provides ocean sounds. Screen was not fully dark, there was some light from the TV. I assume the Regal has the same.
