Rhine Getaway Excursions

I was wondering if anyone has taken the Wine Tasting and Dinner at Eberbach Monastary in Rudesheim and what was you opinion? Also, would like opinions on the Moselle Wine Tasting and Cologne's Beer Culture and Dinner. Thank you.

We did the wine tasting option on our Rhine and Moselle cruise a few years ago. I'm into good wines and it was a worthwhile tour, considering the other parts of the tour that were part of the option. I wasn't blown away with that particular winery but it wasn't bad.

I'm not familiar with the Cologne Beer Culture option, even after doing through Cologne twice in the past four years on Avalon. Must be a different cruise line. Sure sounds good, though.
