Hi,we are doing our first Thomson cruise next year.2 weeks on discovery 2.We couldn't see any laundrettes on the deck plans.Does anyone know if there is a laundry service?Cheers,Brian.

No laundrettes, but there is a laundry service via your cabin steward.

No self service laundrette service available on D2 - but am afraid that I do not want to spend my well earned holiday in a launderette!!. However, a well priced cabin laundry service is available and, if you use this, your cabin steward gets a bonus. D2 is a wonderful ship so you will have a great time despite the lack of laundry facilities.

Hi,on a 2 week cruise the laundrettes on Princess and P&O were more convenient.The Princess laundry service was ok but now and again things would come back 3 sizes too small,lol.You are one of the regulars on this board so can I ask 1 off topic question?Do men still wear dinner suits on dress to impress nights?I don't want to pack one if not needed,cheers,Brian.
