Ventura Refurb

I have never done a cruise this long either, so don't really know what to expect. Is the pod in the MDR repeated and what about the entertainment?

The entertainment on this years cruise was very good. In particular the daytime speakers were of top quality.

I haven't been with P&O for a couple of years and don't know if I would be doing the right thing by choosing to go on Ventura for such a long cruise (28 days) as it is getting old.

Old ???? She was only launched in 2008!!!

We are also booked on the 35 nighter in Feb 2018 and this will be its last before it has a 16 day break, presumably for its next 5yr refit.

I hope this does not impact on the cruise, but we are certainly looking forward to this cruise after doing a 28 night one earlier this year.

I'm on the 35 night one as well. I was on Arcadia for the cruise before her last refit and that didn't have any impact on the cruise. It did mean though that disembarkation was very fast. I think she was on her way back down the Solent at 10am.

We did that cruise this year and it was one of the best we have done. Excellent ship and crew.

 

It is so good we have already booked for 2018 the one you are looking at.

 

At least 6 of our fellow cruisers from this Jan have booked for Jan 17. I think they must have liked it as well.

Just had a word with my TA and his live system is showing no change to our cruise at all. So perhaps your web site has it wrong or their Mystic Ball is cloudy. :) :) :)

Just got home, so am able to her my Personaliser not the P&O website and it still says Grenada, so Ship Mate doesn't know what it is talking about.[emoji848]

Anyone seen what will be done in March 18 during dry dock ? Is it just engineering or would you expect cabin refurb, carpets etc or anything else rumoured or definite .
