Public ferry questions

We had originally planned on renting a Twizy but I waited too long and they are sold out:(:(. :(

So my next consideration is a scooter. I saw a post from several years ago that you could take them on the ferries?

Does anyone know if this is true? Can you take them on the fast ferry? Extra charge ?

Trying to figure that out or do public transportation.

You can not take them on the ferry Dockyard <> St George's (Orange Route).

You can take them on some of the runs from the Dockyard<>Hamilton. The scooter is charged an adult fare (token), but if paid by Transportation Pass, free.

They have reduced the number of ferry runs you can take them on this year. They can only be taken on a few Blue Route (Dockyard - Hamilton) ferry runs. They can’t be taken on any other routes.
