Astoria - Tender Port?

Phew! We are traveling with our young son and doing a car rental for the day. A tender would have eaten into our day too much!

You can walk into town. It is a small quaint place.

There is a path near the pier, along beside the train tracks where a vintage train will take you in. It is Very slow though....LOL We didn't know the train existed until almost into town when we saw it.

We were just there in May and there was also a shuttle provided by the city that picks up at the port and goes to a couple of stops. I cannot remember the cost but it was not much and the shuttle came quite often.
