The Louisiana Governor has declared parts of New Orleans as state of emergency.

As far as I can tell airport and cruise terminal not affected. Residents in affected areas are advised to move their cars to higher ground.

The parts of New Orleans that regularly flood are no problem for tourists as they are not areas that tourists usually go.

Flooding is so normal in New Orleans that it is rumored that many people whose families have been living in New Orleans for centuries are now starting to develop gills.
