New england cruise

So you will take time away from your DC sightseeing each day by commuting from Baltimore just to take advantage of "included" cruise parking and shuttle at a Baltimore hotel? Bad advice in my book. Stay at a DC hotel, then drive to and park at/near the port the morning of your cruise. Your time is worth the extra expense.

(And just for my knowledge: are there actually cruises out of Baltimore that call at New England ports? I thought there were only Bahamas/Caribbean cruises from there)

Grandeur sails from Baltimore to New England/Canada ten or so times May to October.

Also, since DC hotels are very expensive, staying in Baltimore (with free parking) and taking a short train ride makes more sense than staying in DC (with expensive parking) and still having to get back to Baltimore for the cruise,

Any special reason you want to sail out of Baltimore? Two years ago when I did a RCI New England/Canada cruise it was $1000 per person cheaper to leave from Bayonne (Cape Liberty) than from Baltimore - same number of days, same ports. You might want to check the difference in price.
