New Happy Hour

Just saw this on the Carnival Miami Blog. Isn’t really clear if this is a daily happy hour or just the first day. But it’s at the casino bar and features several drink specials (50% off several mixed drinks and wine as well as beer specials). Anyone else experienced this firsthand?

It was posted on a Valor page today as well. Said it was from the Glory and wondering if it was on the Valor yet. Answer live from embarkation was NO, not on the Valor today.

Since it says WELCOME ABOARD at the top of the flyer, I would have to assume that it's a first day special. Would be nice to see it on the Horizon in NYC on day one since Cheers doesn't kick in until day two and I hate paying full price for my drinks.

We had this on embarkation day on the Victory on NYE. we took advantage as we didn’t purchase Cheers! Glad to see it’s on the Glory as well

Saw on another ship they had happy hour at red frog pub half off fishbowls from 11:30-2:30

Hope this will go fleet wide by November, since we don't purchase cheers. Always try to take advantage of the other specials at Alchemy when they have their $1 off nights also. ;p

We sail on the Vista in less than 2 weeks and I was thinking of stepping-up my alcohol comsumption..... but this clinches it! I will have to stroll around and check out the random bars and troll them for specials......

Please report back, since I'm going in Sept. on the Vista.

The special is for embarkation day from Noon-300 so unless you drag your feet getting on board, you can enjoy it.

We sailed on the Miracle in June 2018 and got to experience the Half off Fishbowls (pitchers) several times during our 7 day cruise. They were $10 and only about 8 choices of drinks, but I think we tried them all, LOL. Once we found our favorite we ordered it multiple times!!

I was on the Sensation a few weeks ago and they did the Happy Hour in the casino several times during the cruise. Here's a copy of the menu.

It was on Glory in April. The Sparkling wine was cheap, yet effective ;p

If you want a regular thing, just invest in Cheers and buy the 10% off cards through AARP or Allstate to help pay for it. You then get what you want when you want and you're not limited to certain drinks at certain times. You can even enjoy a Grey Goose VX martini at Alchemy which is normally 20.00.

Can you elaborate more on fishbowls(pitchers)? What kind of drinks are in these fishbowls? I am not much of a drinker, but my adult children will be with us.

They did it on embarkation day then every port day (Grand Turk, HMC, Nassau).  

On the Elation in August, they did this on port days only.  

We had it on Carnival Victory on sailing day only.  It was limited to the Casino bar and like 4 drinks, but it was still awesome.  Got just the right amount of intoxicated to start a cruise.

 

Would love for it to be every day.

Anything on Ecstasy or Paradise?  This would be awesome on my next 2 cruises.

yes they have those drinks it is exclusive to only the drinks on the menu but the wine was good and if you like the speciality drinks advertised its good. found to be skimpy on the alcohol though.  some are pre mixed.
