Carnival Players Club Question

If you don't gamble, there is no need to worry about the Players Club.

What they are saying is, the more you gamble, then you will receive offers for rewards though the casino. If you don't gamble, most likely you will not get rewards or offers.

But I have heard of people who hardly gamble receiving offers, like $40 off a cruise fare

Not much, but better than nothing.

Hi

You don't have to gamble a lot to get casino offers. You have to gamble a lot to get really good casino offers.

To be clear, you don't have to lose money, to earn casino points. You can be winning as well, as long as you are playing, they are happy.

Why did you have to make that comment. I am really curious why someone can't ask a question about something they are curious without being ridiculed.

No, once you are in the casino & gamble once you are in. The more you donate to the cause the more you will earn back or receive future offers.

It doesn't matter how much you "donate". It matters how much you play.

For instance, I just got off a 10 day Panama Canal cruise and played a lot of hours in the casino ( 5 sea days). When all was said and done, I was up $300 for the cruise ( yes, I am very disaplined and keep track of my wins and losses). I still received a $100 cruise offer with $100 OBC for a future cruise ( O1V offer.). Chose a 4 day cruise to tie together with our 12 cruise in Feb.

So you can get free cruises and still win money from the casino. No need to donate.

My brother gets casino offers and he's been on one cruise and never set foot in the casino.

My guess is that he was linked to my booking number and since I live in the casino, they tried to lure him in too...:D

I wasn’t ridiculing the OP. He stated he wasn’t a gambler so I simply stated he didn’t need to worry about the Players Club if he didn’t gamble. I don’t think there is anything wrong with saying that. I never gamble on cruises so the Players Club doesn’t mean anything to me either.

Thanks very much for explaining, I suppose I'm too shy to go inside and find out these things. Thank you for answering my question.

I agree with your statement. The OP wanted to know how to join it and mentioned that they didn't gamble. Your answer was correct in that the Players Club is only for people that gamble. I saw nothing wrong with the way your response was worded. No rudeness at all.
