Penguin Viewing with a Bad Neck/Back???

We are planning a 22 night cruise on HAL Zaandam and hope to do some shore excursions viewing penguins. We have made a reservation with Estancia in the Falklands, but the web site says due to the long ride over the marsh lands, it is not suitable for people with neck or back problems, which my DW has. If you have done this excursion, is it a JARRING ride or just an up and down ride? Also, what would be the next 2 best penguin type excursions as we may have to cancel that one and the ship may not even be able to stop there? Is there another enjoyable penguin excursion in the Falklands? Any information/advice is welcome. Thank you.

We used Estancia. It was a great tour, but the ride is definitely on the jarring side, at times. The driver's go in convoys because they often need to pull each other out of the boggy areas.

It was probably the bounciest ride I have ever been on, by far.

The two tours I went on for penguins, one like described above. 4 wheel drive Land Rovers and a sometimes bumpy ride. The other was on their roads. Started as asphalt road, then dirt road. The dirt road was much longer than the other. The tour guide described it as a massage for your back. Very bumpy at times. Then to get to the penguins there, it was about a 20min plus walk over some uneven ground.

In the Falklands, you could always go over to Gypsy Cove, which is a short 15 minute ride over paved roads. Not the best for penguin viewing, but there are usually a few hundred there.

In Puerto Madryn, you could go down to Punta Tombo, where there are thousands of penguins. The trip is long (2 1/2 hours each way), but it's a smooth ride, even with the last 20 km being over a gravel road.
