Private Sale Email from HAL

My friend booked on Sat and got Explore4 included. He also got a casino rate.

I’m not seeing where Explore4 is available anywhere. I’ve read where it is to become available on July 18, but that is only repeating something I’ve read. Still only seeing the “2 Week Sale” that ends today. It would be helpful to know where your friend was able to access Explore4 promotion and rates. Thank you.

He got it by calling HAL directly and booking through the agent that answered. He has a HAL PCC, but of course they were off on the weekend. He asked about it and they were able to add it to his cruise (March).

Reading more and more about these "private email sales". Is this the current work around in response to the HAL website debacle? Frantically trying to maintain their former HAL customer base?

Saved $200 on one of the 3 cabins in our block, the last one we booked which didn't get booked at the time of the last Private Sale. Our other 2 cabins actually went up in price with this sale so we just stuck with the better rate.

PCC said no Explore4 is showing for our sailing yet but to check back tomorrow. She did say however that the sailings covered by Explore4 this year are not presently as extensive as previous years. If it doesn't, we are ok with that as the deal we got was good from the get go and we will just buy our drinks package once we board. :cool:
