Emerald 2018 Alaskan season

On our cruise last February it was on a smart casual evening.

I'm pretty sure that on all of my Alaskan cruises, it has been on the 2nd formal night.

I haven't gone to one in quite a while, but IIRC it's always on a formal night.

While at one time the Captain's Circle Party has been on formal night, usually the second or last one, it now seems to have switched to a casual night at least on our last few cruises. We do go to all the parties to see who is the most traveled, meet the captain and enjoy the music, munchies and drinks. We look forward to doing it.

When last I was on the Emerald there were multiple Capt Circle "parties", segregated by level.

Never qualified for the big one, tho. IIRC, that was on 2nd formal.

Just back from the Emerald and it was on the last formal night at 7pm.
