Marella Celebration Wine Packages?

Recommended Posts

Hello

We will be sailing on the Marella Celebration on 28th June 2018

We don’t have the all inclusive pkg, as the itinerary is very port intensive.

But we do like a bottle of wine with evening meals.

Just wondered if Marella did something like a 6 or 7 bottle wine package with a bit of discount, or is it just buy as you go?

Many thanks in advance

They do wine packages and will try to sell you one on the first evening. I seem to remember we paid around 90 pounds for 6 bottles which we thought very fair. They will also keep your bottle if you don't finish it.

If it isn't too late.

We have had packages for 3, 5 and 7 bottles which work well as you can calculate how many additional ones you might need as you go along without being committed to a larger package.

There is a slight discount so worth considering as there is a decent selection of red, white and rose. If you tell the wine waiter your usual preferences he can help you choose. You can mix and match from any of the wines in the "package" range or stick with one you like. Your choice. Any leftovers can be kept. They will put your cabin number on it and you ask for it next time.

You are given vouchers for the number you bought. You simply hand one over to the wine waiter when you want a new bottle.

And if you have any vouchers left at the end of your cruise you can chose what wines you would like and the waiters sturdily pack them for you to bring home.

Thank you both Edinburgher and campolady for your very helpful info!

Not too late, we don’t go until 28th June! [emoji106]

I think we will try for the 5 bottle pkg and see how we go from there!

Many thanks

Gary
