This is through Amex Offers, so you have to have an American Express card and check your Amex Offers. If it's not there, you're probably out of luck.

What's nice about this deal is that you don't have to use their travel agency. I believe you can use any travel agency you like, or book directly with MSC as well.

If you have an existing booking and it's refundable, I'd probably throw an extra $500 onto the reservation using the enrolled Amex and check later to see if it worked, but as they say "your mileage may vary".

I'd say this deal is worth $100-$170 or so, depending on who you believe with respect to the value of an Amex Reward Point.

Obviously, you have to use your targeted American Express Card and further click "add to card" before you book. If you book a new cruise, most have a $98 per person deposit, which is often refundable (depending on sailing date), but I'd look at something far enough out to make sure it's refundable and have them do a $500 deposit to hopefully qualify.

Looks like there are a number of similar offers, although they all seem to provide $100 or more on MSC and/or other cruise lines. My deal worked out well, as I was looking at a MSC cruise. No credit yet, but hopefully it will show up within a few days.

but I did have it on my AMEX Everyday Card - 10,000 membership points...which I use for Amazon $$ - works for me paying off the Med Cruise anyways.

I've used that offer twice for Carnival cruises. Wish it applied to Celebrity, as that is my next cruise. I do have the MSC offer on my card. EM

There are 2 promos, at least. One is the one I mentioned that pertains to MSC only, which I received. I have 4 AMEX cards and the offer was on 1 only. There's another offer to get back $100 (I think it is) on several major cruise lines, which I got as well. Others have received promos that I didn't get. Luck of the draw, I suppose.

There is not a specific link to the offer, because not everyone has the offer.

If you want to check, go to http://www.amexoffers.com and log in. You may see one of them. If you have multiple Amex cards, check each one.

I checked my AMEX and unfortunately it does not have MSC in its offer, although it does other lines like somebody else mentioned. Boo. I am coming up on the 90 day ticker fast, and that would be a nice bonus, but oh well. I will try to remember to check on things like that more often.

Did anyone have a problem with redemption of this offer. Group of 10 with 4 amex cards and all spent $501 for downpayments and still haven’t received email saying offer was accepted.

I'm here to find out the same. I've used many Amex offers, and I have always gotten a confirmation email within minutes of making the purchase saying that my offer had been redeemed -- including the Carnival offer. I just applied a $500 payment to my MSC cruise but didn't receive any confirmation email from Amex.

So, has anyone actually received the $100 credit yet?

I have activated my amex.offer....my question is, I put down $99 deposit on the cruise on amex.card and now the final payment is coming due which is $495 does that qualify? The reason why I'm asking is that it's two different transactions that were made several weeks apart. Or does it need to be $500 at final payment to qualify? When I put the 5% off with the loyalty promo it brought the total down to $495! Can someone clear this up for me?
