Wine shops in Puerto Vallarta or Cabo?

Anyone know of a shop near by the ports to buy Mexico made wines? Not interested in just a liquor store, but one that is primarily selling wines. Thanks

Interesting question. We are wine drinkers who live in Puerto Vallarta for a few months a year. There are actually more and more decent Mexican wines although I will admit that its not something we seek when in the USA. In Puerto Vallarta you should normally fine a few decent Mexican wines (and some not so decent) across from the port at Walmart. If you have a Sam's membership its next door to Walmart and should have slightly better prices. But our favorite shop for buying wine (Mexican or otherwise) is called Vinos America and its located on Basillio Badillo in the Romantic Zone (Old Town) of Puerto Vallarta. This is the main shopping street on the southside of the Rio Cujale...so if you decide to go into town you should check out this store. They have the best selection of Mexican wines in town and their prices are good. They also accept Visa and MC if you prefer to use a credit card.

Another nice wineshop in Puerto Vallarta can be found in the Fluvial section of town, much closer to the cruise terminal, called Vinoteca.https://www.vinoteca.com/
