I love Margaritaville Cafes, I've been to 22 of them across the globe including the one on the Escape.

I recommend the food at the other specialty dining restaurants on the Getaway. that said, if you're looking for an experience and not just culinary excellence go for it!

I paid out of pocket for my fish and chips and beers a few years ago. The view alone was worth the price.

Thanks for the info! Yes normally I wouldn't consider going there with my package, but since we have 2 platinum dinners plus 3 spd dinners, I'm searching for something different possibly.

We used one of our SDPs for lunch at the Raw Bar (if you like seafood). For a $7 upcharge, we ate around $80 of seafood each.

Food quality at Margaritaville was very good. The problem I have is that one price for too much food! I can't eat it all. Remember they are only open for lunch.

It was worth it when a la carte. The problem is they have a large surcharge now. I would have eaten lunch there every day if a la carte. But to spend $40 on some nachos to split with my wife is a bit much...
