Our kids have never been hassled in any bar on any cruise ship we've been on. They started sailing with us when our youngest was about 10. We would regularly serve them wine at dinner, ocassionally when a bit older (late teens) if they wanted we would order them a beer in the night clubs or lounges. We never had a server refuse the drink order or give us hard time.

We've been sailing with our kids since the oldest was 7 months old. Even at 7 months, we've never been hassled about having him in a bar on a ship (and we've sailed NCL, Carnival, and Royal). Now, he and his sister are 9 and 8, and no one says anything to them. We've never tried to order them shots or bourbon-on-the-rocks..........Roy Rogers and Shirley Temples are about as wild as they get!

Kids are allowed EVERYWHERE on a ship except the Casino, spa and adult pools and sun areas on the ship. No worries about having a child in the bar.

The nightclub will be 18+

Poster is European....not uncommon at all for kids to sample wine/beer at a young age.

Thanks everyone! My kids have both been cruising since they were 6 months but this will be our first NCL so wasn't sure if there were different rules! Sorry OP for hijacking the thread!

I think there are drinks of the day for 8.95, and I think they lowered prices (like on Dark and Stormy)

No prob, I'm gonna do a better job with the excel tables and fill in prices from our trip.

Still don't quite know what to use it for!
