Garden Villa Beds--do they split from King to Single/Twin?

HI All

I have a question. Does anyone know if any of the beds in the 3 BR Garden Villa (Jewel) split from the King/Queen to a Single/Twin? We have 8 people in the Villa and 2 are brothers who would prefer not to share a bed but would be cool with sharing a room.

Our other option is to have a rollaway bed put in the living room, but would prefer to use the bedrooms for everyone to sleep.

Any information would be appreciated.

In our case on both the Star and the Pearl the beds did not split. The Pearl had a fold out chair at least in one room that I slept on that was actually really comfortable. I can't remember if the Star had that or not.

Based on the way that NCL does their cabin descriptions the beds do not separate, and to actually sleep 8 you will have two rollaways in the living room anyway.

The king size beds are plenty roomy enough so that two people can share but have their own separate space. Especially brothers.

I didn’t think they allowed more than 7 in the GV.

That is on Star/Dawn. Jewel class, yes. They used to on Star/Dawn then they changed it a few years back. Why?? Who knows as those are the largest ones anyways.

Thanks for this post. We just looked at suites with twin beds and was told they didn't have any on NCL. Which I think is a bummer because we want to take our sons (adults) and get suites side by side, but that will not work. If anybody can add to this would love to hear back.

Also looking at the GV on the Gem for next year but much higher for the 5 of us than 2 AFT suites.

I know it's not ideal, but consider asking for extra pillows and build a pillow wall between the two. The beds are large enough that they should be able to do this and still have plenty of room for themselves.

On the Gem, tha GV master has a sofa that converts to a single. But that would mean your sons get the master LOL Booooo 😊

I know the master suite has the king plus a couch that looks to fold out into a bed, but NO WAY in hell am I gonna give up my master suite. I am paying, so I get the best bedroom!

We have had a tough year last year with almost losing my son twice to Crohn's and complications from a couple of surgeries, so we are using this cruise to celebrate birthdays and living life to the best of our ability, as tomorrow's not guaranteed to anyone!! (But he still doesn't get my master suite!!LOL).

That is the BEST room for family time and celebrations. We were in 14500 in June and it was by far our best family vaca EVER!!! Enjoy every minute and I know the Crohn's deal - we lost my brother in law to it 12 yrs ago. Have a WONDERFUL cruise,,,,,and don't you DARE give up that master!!!...besides....there isn't a bad bedroom in there, even with a roll away. :)

So sorry about your BIL. Crohn's robs families of so much. My 22 year old has been through so much since being dx 18 months ago.

We are in 14000 I think--and yes, we are super excited. Actually, the rest of the family doesn't know we are in the Villa. They all think they have inside rooms. HAHAHA. I can't wait to see their faces when we get escorted up to the villa~
