Looking at a 14 day in early December and would appreciate ANY experiences or opinions. (Note - this would be an OV cabin in Celebrity.)

Looking at a 14 day in early December and would appreciate ANY experiences or opinions. (Note - this would be an OV cabin in Celebrity.)

We are booked on the December 9th Cruise and prices are great. A balcony is about as cheap as an outside. Coming up on final payment and there is still a lot of cabins left so prices may drop further.

The airfares are sinking the deal. Raleigh NC to Buenos Aires RT is nearly $1700 pp. MORE than the cruise.

 

Yes, the fares on choice air are identical to what I can book direct on my own.

Holiday season pricing.

I see Miami to Buenos Aires on Latam for around $1000 Dec 6th to 22nd.

Avianca has a similar price those dates from New York. Sometimes the S. American airlines have better prices. I used Skyscanner for prices.

Yea we are on Azamara cruise Dec 22 and flights from Toronto were shocking. Doing it this time but will not travel at this time of year again.

We are also booked on the December 9th Celebrity Eclipse cruise. Indeed, great prices! Book direct with Celebrity, they couldn't be nicer. Not many options for that itinerary, but this one sounds great. It will be our first time in South America as well. Would be interested to hear from someone who has been there before or has advice on what not to miss.

 

We learned about the Albatross in New Zealand. Only a few places in the world have Albatross and heard the area around Cape Horn is one of them. Hope to see these magnificent birds on this trip.
