I think this is the cruise we booked. We are doing a 6 day land tour first and then sailing on 9/3/10 to Vancouver. We are doing tour 15 starting in Fairbanks. Anyone else doing this cruise-tour? First time to Alaska for both myself and hubby

Really enjoyed the Radiance, but...... be careful of the lowest level of balconies. There is an awning that extends from the balcony out about 10-15ft. It covers the life boats. Besides blocking part of your view, the RC workers walked up and down the awning looking into the rooms. We had to keep the drapes closed. Yes I complained, no help. Wrote a letter to RC, no reply. I still liked the ship, food and the service, just not the "lookers".

 

Unless, of course, you book one of the extended balconies at the front or back. Those are nice.
