kdinkus1 Posted November 22, 2009 #230 Share Posted November 22, 2009 He agreed with us that it was very hot… his little gadget that measures the temperature read 78 degrees… ummm, yeah that’s like what the temperature should be OUTSIDE and NOT in my cabin. So he did something to turn it all the way down and said it should cool down in a few minutes. He said the lowest temperature cabins go down to is 72 degrees… eh! It sort of cooled down, but not as much as we are comfortable with for sleeping temps…. But it was late and we were exhausted. Our CC friends Gigi and Geoff were down the hall from us in an oceanview and they also had A/C issues. I wonder if this was a fluke or it’s the norm for this area of the ship!?!?! We were in an inside cabin (on the Carnival Valor) last December and the same thing happened with us... no matter what they did, we sweated! Never had an inside before and will never again! Way too steamy for us...

Mrs.C05 Posted November 30, 2009 #232 Share Posted November 30, 2009 Wow, it's been over a month since she's posted here. I hope she's okay! I'd love to read the end of it, so I hope she comes back to do so. It's been a great review so far and would hate to see it go unfinished. John, have you heard from her? Nunu Posted November 30, 2009 #234 Share Posted November 30, 2009 Wow, it's been over a month since she's posted here. I hope she's okay! I'd love to read the end of it, so I hope she comes back to do so. It's been a great review so far and would hate to see it go unfinished. John, have you heard from her? She was online yesterday. I think some people get bored and don't finish or real life gets in the way? I know my review tailed off pretty bad at the end. :p

Lizzzys Posted November 30, 2009 #237 Share Posted November 30, 2009 We arrived at our cabin, 2246 – this is a great cabin location, between the Atrium and Mid-ship elevators. Isn't 2246 an outside cabin? L
esoteric escort Posted December 3, 2009 #238 Share Posted December 3, 2009 EVERYONE: Ok! Heard from Fofita......she is fine :) But as someone suggested, "life got in the way"....I tried to sort of coax her into finishing, even if not in such detail, and she said she might be back on in a few days to perhaps just post pictures....However, it's a time consuming process and she's quite busy right now. ******* ******* ******* Lizzy: Yes, according to the deck plan 2246 is an 'ocean view' cabin. I'm wondering if by "inside", she was possibly referring to the fact that it's "in the belly of the whale" so to speak (being on deck 2).......but now I'm just putting words in her mouth, so don't quote me. :D ~~ john
esoteric escort Posted December 3, 2009 #239 Share Posted December 3, 2009 She was so close to finishing up. I hope she's not sick or something...Anyone want to give a review of Cozumel, until we hear from fotita01? September 6-13, 2009 (Sunday-Sunday) Our cruise was in the order of: Saturday, the 5th, stayed at Intercontinental Hotel....could see the ship from our window. Getting anxious now. 1. Miami 2. day-at-sea 3. Cayman, (StingRay City then Island Tour) 4. Roatan, Honduras, (ZIP Lining and then Foster's Beach) With Fofita and her cousin 5. Belize City, (ATV Jungle Tour then Cave Tubing) With Fofita and her cousin 6. Cozumel.... (Dolphin Discovery) 7. day-at-sea (where, on 9-11, we changed course to assist in the rescue of a stranded Mexican fishing vessel roughly 100 miles off the Mexican coast) 8. back to Miami Well, mine is nowhere as detailed as Fofita's but here's a short review from me. Joliboi Posted December 22, 2009 #241 Share Posted December 22, 2009 Please let FOFITA know that her not finishing her awsome review is like: Reaching Third Base on a Tripple and then get thrown out at Home on a Sac. Fly but I do want to wish her god speed in whatever is keeping her so buisy. Still would love to cruise with her and her coz. carmendmun Posted January 12, 2010 #243 Share Posted January 12, 2010 I read your review thoroughly as my family and I will be on the Valor in April. I quickly learned you are a fellow Dominican and it made me very proud to read all the comments posted by those that met you during the cruise. You are one smart and mature woman! It makes me proud that we are co-patriots!! Your review of the zip lining in Honduras was so good we are planning to do that when we go, along with the beach stop (thanks for the tip on sand flees) I am sorry you did not finish the review but i understand how life can get in the way of fun :) Nonetheless i wanted to thank you for all the tine you took to write and post pictures you are very talented and gifted. Keep it up!! God Speed all the best to you!
