child care hours on HAL

Does anyone know the hours that the kids program is open on board? Do they do anything for dinner (I'm thinking for formal nights), or should I expect to book a sitter?

 

Also, do I need to put my 3 year old in long pants for smart casual nights? Or will he be ok in a collared shirt and bermuda shorts?

for the program. As for the dress issue...I would think that children need to follow the adults rules too when reguards to dress codes.
