Is Dreams PV worth the $$?

We are thinking of heading over to dreams while in PV. It will be myself, DH, 2 DD's age 9. Do you think the kids would enjoy it? Any other ideas? Past experience. Just not sure it's worth 45 bucks a person. Thanks!

It is well worth the money. Very nice beach and excellent food. We were there 3 weeks ago. We didn't have kids with us so I can't speak to that. We would most definitly go back.

We just got back (10/11/09 sail date) and had a wonderful time. We had grandma and child of 9 and 3 adults. Kid loved the pool! Ocean was a little rough but pool was great. Never got a seat at the pool bar, too crowded. The adults easlily drank and ate their money's worth. I've done a few day pass resorts and Deams was by far the best buffet we have had. Great variety and taste. Try to pick a server and stick with them and they will give you excellent service. Just be sure to tip accordingly.

Can any body tell me how far Dreams is from the dock? And how much cab fare is?

We paid $25 which includes tip for a van for 5 because driver did not want to go. He siad it was too far because he wanted more fares down by the dock. It didn't take that long, mabye 20 minutes but we went through downtown which was slow. Well worth it!

Agree about the time to get there as well as it being totally worth it.
