Can someone remind me of what company Regent uses to ship luggage from US to their ships?

Have had excellent service... Called yesterday to ship our luggage to South Africa, was told by them that SA was being very strict about unaccompanied and that they couldn't accept my luggage. Called another service....and they are going to ship it..?????

They gave us impeccable service!

Regent used to use IPS. They were horrible and are now out of business.

 

Luggage Free has replaced them and they are fabulous. In fact, they cleaned up a huge luggage shipping mess that International Port Services (IPS) created. I highly recommend them!

We used Luggagefree in September on our Alaska cruise. They are great. The luggage was in our suite when we arrived and the Butler took the luggage the morning we departed and it arrived at the house two days later.

I feel I have to defend IPS.

 

The last trip Regent used them (2008, I think) was indeed a disaster - we had as many issues as anyone - but we shipped with them for many years before that and had few if any problems.

 

We've used LuggageFree for the last couple of years and they have been fine.
