Tux or dark business suit

We sailed on the Royal Princess world cruise (107 days) the first of this year. I took along 3 suits and a tux. On this cruise the dress code was either formal or smart casual..I never wore any of the suits I took along for the entire cruise. What is the dress code on shorter cruises.

We have not sailed on Princess for years before our world cruise.

We are now booked on the Island Princess for the Panama Canal cruise (10 days) Dec. 10,2009. Is the dress code on shorter Princess cruises the same, either formal or smart casual. Will a tux still be worn or should a dark business suit be better?

You are on the wrong board. You need to be over on Princess cruises I think.
