teacher2cruiser Posted October 29, 2009 #1 Share Posted October 29, 2009 Can someone tell me what the past guest perks are? Someone mentioned specialy prices but does that kick in after 5 or so? Anything for anyone who has one NCL cruise in their past?
ugen512 Posted October 29, 2009 #2 Share Posted October 29, 2009 Check on their website for the perks. I'm up to 3 with NCL and I'm not sure what my perks are!
lilbit Posted October 29, 2009 #3 Share Posted October 29, 2009 Only thing that I can remember is a Latitudes 1 hour cocktail party which was nice.
Toyz711 Posted October 29, 2009 #4 Share Posted October 29, 2009 sometimes i see discounts of $50, sometimes a little more...the discounts are not (usually) very much and not every cruise. we did get pins and treats (cookies, until i got to silver level..then chocolate covered strawberries), but these have been discontinued. :( once on the ship, every past cruisers can go to the party, should have a invite in your cabin at check-in. silver and above gets to go to 2 parties. for the real perks, you need to reach gold and above. weltek Posted October 29, 2009 #6 Share Posted October 29, 2009 Past Guests/Latitudes Program Perks: http://www.ncl.com/nclweb/cruiser/cmsPages.html?pageId=MembershipBenefits Also, I recommend checking before you book if the sailings you are most interested in currently have a Latitudes member discount. Really inexpensive sailings often don't, while something a little higher might and it could equalize out the pricing (e.g. a four day bahamas at $200/pp with no discount vs. a 5 day caribbean for $325 with an added $50 discount might give you more options). I've received $50-100/pp for being a Latitudes member before. Our current Sky cruise is the only one that hasn't offered a discount, but at $200/pp, I'm not surprised.
