cruise tour

we have just booked a cruise tour - 5 days, Venice, Florence, Rome - 12 day cruise Italy,Greece,Egypt,Turkey on Navigator of the Seass. Would love to hear from anyone who has taken this trip with advice as to best excursions, and any other general information regarding this itinerary. Our first time to Europe so we thought a cruise tour would be the way to go. Thank you.

You had an excellent idea in booking as you did. You will get a good sample of foriegn travel and begin to see which type you prefer. Over the years, we have done both land and cruise plus a cruise-tour and enjoyed all of them. :)

Look in the ports of call section - they will have lots of info about what to do in each port. Kathy

Thank you both for your response. Even though our trip is a long way off I will start checking out the excursions for each port to get some ideas. I know, after taking many cruises, you can't do everything each port has to offer.
