I need a shuttle recommendation please

We need a shuttle from ft. Lauderdale Airport to Hollywood (Westin diplomat hotel) and from Hollywood to the Port of Miami. I've already contacted SAS and they can't pick us up in Hollywood. I've also contacted South Florida Shuttles and they can't deliver us to the Port of Miami...Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks for any information!

contact your hotel concierge and ask for LIMO referal.it may cost a little more but you are guaranteed a ride

Isn;t there a shared ride service at Fort Lauderdale - I don;t know what their name is but I have used them... I have only had the van take me to the Port of Miami, I don;t know if there is a restriction on Hollywood.

You might want to look into car rentals.

Thanks for all the suggestions. We are looking into a car rental but they are expensive since its the holidays and we need a bigger car - 5 of us plus a lot of luggage...I don't pack light. I seriously have to take all 20 pairs of shoes.

Have you checked with Gray Line? We used them when we were in Las Vegas. They have terminals all over, but I don't know about there. Worth checking into!

I just noticed your post nikita-we're in the Diplomat Thursday night and on the Pearl this Saturday. Got a great price for the Westin and am looking forward to the cruise. :D

 

We have friends in Ft Lauderdale who have agreed to shuttle us---BUT just in case something happens & they can't we're thinking we may get back to the airport (taxi probably) and catch SAS there

Thanks for the suggestion - if we have to do it that way then I guess we have to, just want to get on that ship!! You will like the Diplomat - we stayed there a few years back and it was very nice - smells sooo good in the lobby!! Enjoy your cruise!! Hopefully you can write a review when you return!
