HAL Eurodam Cabin Selection

We are looking at sailing on the Holland America Eurodam in the spring of 2010 and have been offered a large inside cabin on Deck 1 (K1116) which is the main deck. The cabin is almost directly below the Lower Rembrandt Dining Room entrance way on Deck 2 (Lower Promenade Deck).

Has anyone stayed in a similar cabin? How noisy is this room going to be? Obviously we won't be going to bed at 6pm, but if we want some quiet time during lunch or dinner time, what can we expect?

Thank you.

First time HAL cruisers.

I'm not sure about the cabins under the dining room but we spend our evenings in the piano bar and they had complaints from the people below them. Since the last dinner seating is done (usually) around 10:30, I think you would be okay. Just avoid the cabins under the piano bar.:D
