elysams Posted November 25, 2009 #1 Share Posted November 25, 2009 Both of these beaches seem to fit our bill but we're worried about overcrowding during Christmas week- is one less crowded in general? Thanks!
paul58 Posted November 25, 2009 #2 Share Posted November 25, 2009 It really depends on how many cruise ships are in port that day.

paul58 Posted November 25, 2009 #4 Share Posted November 25, 2009 According to CruiseTT it doesn't look real busy Xmas week except for the 26th. Carnival is going on but most of that activity is in town. I would go to Cockleshell. 21-Dec-2009 1950 Millennium - 1 ship 22-Dec-2009 2262 Summit Wind Surf - 2 ships 23-Dec-2009 2262 Wind Surf Sea Princess -2 ships 24-Dec-2009 2224 Norwegian Dawn - 1 ship 25-Dec-2009 0 26-Dec-2009 9107 Carnival Victory Grand Princess Ruby Princess -3 ships 27-Dec-2009 2667 Carnival Miracle -1 ship
michaelchris Posted November 25, 2009 #5 Share Posted November 25, 2009 I just was in St Kitts Saturday. Cockleshell and I wasn't too impressed after just visiting Antigua. It wasn't too busy and there is probably 800 yards of beach so I don't think you will be over crowded their. I think we had maybe 20 other people from the ship there. paul58 Posted November 25, 2009 #6 Share Posted November 25, 2009 St Kitts is not really know for its beaches. You can also go to South Friars Beach on the Caribbean side. A nice quiet beach but not the views you have at Cockelshell.
