Information on Roatan Mahogany Bay, Honduras

Having difficulty finding information on this stop which is on Holland American cruise in January. They don't offer any port packages even though ship is in port all day.

 

Anyone have information on this location? Things to do? Tour operators?

Distance from port to town? To beaches? Available transportation/cost?

Your best bet is to get a guidebook on your ports...libraries have them, or you can buy one at any bookstore.

It will be the best investment you can make!

This town is right outside the pier gate. It is a small and very crude. There is a thread about Roatan somewhere on CC.
