danixbanani Posted January 8, 2010 #1 Share Posted January 8, 2010 I've been to Roatan before and it is so beautiful and amazing that I'm going again in March on the Crown Princess. I did the dolphin experience tour with NCL when I went the first time and it was wonderful but very expensive. Victor Bodden doesn't seem to have a dolphin experience in his tours so I was wondering if any other independent tour operators do? Or, since the Crown docks in Mahogany Bay, can I just book with their excursion desk? Anyone have any advice? Thanks!
arlodog Posted January 9, 2010 #2 Share Posted January 9, 2010 I contacted a dolphin encounter place on my own and asked for information. They responded that it is best to book through the cruise lines. They also told me that they will allow walk ups if there is room. I have already booked through Victor Bodden and will just ask them to stop at Anthony's Key Resort and see if we can do an encounter. There are 3 ships in port the day we are there, so we may not be able to get in, but it is worth a shot!
