SCGirl3211 Posted January 21, 2010 #1 Share Posted January 21, 2010 On Mercury in March - considering Reef Rocket Barrier Reef Snorkel to Rendezvous Caye. Anyone take this same excursion? How is snorkeling on Rendezvous Caye in general? Any feedback would be great.
Will in sunny FL Posted January 21, 2010 #2 Share Posted January 21, 2010 We have not been on this trip you mentioned, but have gone with Coral Breeze many times & always enjoyed the snorkeling, the Ray's stop & the local lunch on Caye Caulker. Look at their site for all the details. Good luck. Bill in FL
srsdov Posted January 21, 2010 #3 Share Posted January 21, 2010 We went to Rendezvous Caye about 6 years ago and loved it. I had heard it was not the same after the hurricane so interested to know if still as beautiful as it had been. I will be in Belize March 2nd so if do this excursion will post about it. missdaisy Posted January 31, 2010 #4 Share Posted January 31, 2010 We too are on this cruise and Coral Bay is not an option (they do not "service" the Mercury). I am also exploring ship's tours vs. private, and where best snorkeling will be found.

SCGirl3211 Posted February 2, 2010 Author #6 Share Posted February 2, 2010 Sorry, make that the 3/19 cruise out of Charleston. MissDaisy: We have a great Roll Call group (45 and counting) for the 3/19 Mercury out of Charleston. It is under Decadant and Scandalous Southern Belle Tour. Someone else (who is no longer on this cruise) named it. We have shortened it to Southern Belle Tour. Check us out and join in!:)
