rs12065 Posted January 26, 2010 #1 Share Posted January 26, 2010 I know that in Belize the ships use tenders to get to Belize City. Are the tenders from the ship (we will be on the Glory) or does Carnival use contracted larger tenders? I am aware that the tendering takes about 20 minutes. Thanks for any help. GinDon Posted January 26, 2010 #2 Share Posted January 26, 2010 When we went two years ago, they were not from the ship. And they were fast!
welldone60 Posted January 26, 2010 #3 Share Posted January 26, 2010 The ones that we used were large and fast. Not from the ship. Caution as you near the port and if you are standing up to take a photo, "HANG-ON". When they shut the throttle down it will throw you forward about two rows. BigRed93 Posted January 26, 2010 #4 Share Posted January 26, 2010 They are all different size tenders. Most are larger with two decks of seating, some are smaller where all seating is enclosed. One things for certain is they can go fast. I think they are contracted through the port, as we have used the same tenders no matter which cruise line we arrive with.
