San Diego Airport: Nearest Trader Joe's, Von's or Safeway??

Hi!! Does anyone know of the nearest major grocery chain that is nearby both San Diego Airport AND the pier?? We'll be utilizing a taxi, thus the shortest distance, or closest would be ideal. Thank you in advance.

I do not know if it is the closest, but there is a Ralph's Supermarket just south of Horton Plaza.

There is both a Trader Joe's and a Von's at Liberty Station (Harbor Drive and Rosecrans), which is 2 miles WEST of the airport (the pier is east). There is a Ralphs at 1st and G just south of Horton Plaza downtown (about 12 blocks from the pier), and an Albertson's further east in the East Village at 14th between G and Market. We don't have Safeway in San Diego county.

FYI Von's = Safeway (They own it and all the Safeway house brands you love are available in one.)
