seadude Posted February 27, 2010 #1 Share Posted February 27, 2010 Hi, We need to cancel our Solstice cruise for Jun 6. Today I realized that the final date was yesterday so we are 69 days to sail and I want to know if Celebrity gives you like one day grace period or we lost our deposit. Ray_Ray Posted February 27, 2010 #3 Share Posted February 27, 2010 You can cancel your cruise anytime you need. If you're inquiry is regarding a credit or refund, you should call your TA or Celebrity.

kitty9 Posted February 27, 2010 #5 Share Posted February 27, 2010 We had to cancel about 65 days out and lost the deposit, but our travel insurance covered the deposit amount. No, there is no grace period.
Rare Smmessineo Posted February 27, 2010 #6 Share Posted February 27, 2010 A June 6 cruise? Isn't that still over 90 days away?
Denny01 Posted February 27, 2010 #7 Share Posted February 27, 2010 Why are you wasting your time asking us? You are past the dropdead date which you already are aware of and yup, it may be only one day but its still past final cutoff. Get on the phone and call to see what can be done....which will be most likely a professional 'sorry, but pound sand'. But then I bet you booked through a TA and 'X' won't respond to you directly and I'm sure your TA will respond Friday night (right) or Saturday morning and then you'll be looking for two days' 'grace'. Good luck. You never know, but I'm afraid I find this a bit odd...realize Friday night a day after final date that you want to cancel? I apologize if this is a family issue but if its a personal issue - you are in trouble. Denny
TeaBag Posted February 27, 2010 #8 Share Posted February 27, 2010 Smmessineo is right. June 6 is 100 days from now. Maybe the OP was just trying to see who would see that first! Someone's having a boring Friday night.

And here I always think I'm such as 'numbers guy'' and then forget to do the basic Math! I guess someone is enjoying a few too many brewskis Friday night!
