Towel animals at night

We are taking our kids (ages 5 & 8) on their first cruise on Poesia in March. Do they leave towel animals at turndown each night on the Poeshia? Just curious. Our kids would love it!

They didn't on my Feb. 6 cruise.

It is not something they normally do, I'm afraid unless they have just started in the Caribbean sailings.

Our steward did make us one mid-week. But if you let your steward know how much the kids like them, he will probably make several throughout the week. I think the problem is that they are still learning how to make different ones.

Our wonderful cabin girl did on Opera last year, it was the highlight of going back to our cabin each night. Others weren't so lucky and I wondered if it was due to the fact I took boxes of Australian Macadamia Nut chocolates plus little Koala Bears, Kangaroos etc. Mention this mainly as a suggestion that if your children took a gift for your cabin person it might encourage them. Having said that please do not think that is the reason I took those things, it is just my nature and I go armed with lots of bears etc as the local children in the streets really love them.

I think it depends on which cruise lines the cabin stewards have previously worked on whwther or not they willknow how to do them or even consider doing them. It is not something that they will be taught to do on MSC as it is not part of the standard service offering.

Make your own! :) It's easy to learn how to do them-my husband can make quite a few. He will probably make them for our granddaughters since it's their first cruise and they'll get a kick out of them. David usually makes a group of them and leaves them for our cabin steward(s) on the last day of our cruise.
