MamaTene Posted March 10, 2010 #1 Share Posted March 10, 2010 Taking my two grandsons 12 and 15 on Glory April 4 with a stop in Grand Caymen. Both of the boys are on traveling teams and are in training now. Thought it might be cool to let them hit a few at the different islands but unsure of availability. Anyone able to assist with info? InitialD Posted March 10, 2010 #2 Share Posted March 10, 2010 I doubt you will find any batting cages on Grand Cayman or Belize - being former British colonies the only bats they would have would be of the cricket variety. It is possible Cozumel would have one.

drew sailbum Posted March 10, 2010 #5 Share Posted March 10, 2010 Grand Cayman does have our Field of Dreams facility for Little League baseball. I don't believe they have batting cages. There is a cricket pitch by the end of the airport runway. Again there is no batting cage. You would need to bring your own equipment.
Rare crewsweeper Posted March 11, 2010 #6 Share Posted March 11, 2010 Thank you so much crewsweeper for the link! I have sent email and will see what develops. Well, good luck. Maybe there'll be a practice going on while your grandsons are there and they can at least go watch.
