cruisenum7 Posted March 22, 2010 #2 Share Posted March 22, 2010 hi manetamers... we sailed on LIBERTY in 2008 to East Caribbean while touring USA.... what a beautiful ship.... it's huge and yet we never got lost.... being able to stand right at the very front (as per TITANIC) is a special feeling - you can't do that on too many ships these days! Free pizza and antipasto on the promenade walk, having burgers and fries and chili beans in Johnny Rockets up HIGH on port side with ocean views (small cover charge)... very easy check-in in Miami... on ship in 15 minutes! With OASIS being so popular at present and with her sister ALLURE just around the corner, I assume that there'll be less "rush" for the beautiful FREEDOM class ships... enjoy your cruise! ERIE 13 Posted March 22, 2010 #3 Share Posted March 22, 2010 You are going to love this ship. Just off her Feb 28. Went to Costa Maya, Belize, Cozumel and Grand Cayman. Great ports to go to with lots to due. The food, shows, entertainment, service etc were all very good. Even the weather cooperated.
Rare nellydean Posted March 22, 2010 #4 Share Posted March 22, 2010 Lovely ship, sailed on her in the Western Caribbean in her inaugural year in 2007, but I see from the itineraries for 2011 that they are only 7 nighters, which I think is too short to enjoy such a port-intensive cruise (5 stops one after the other and only one crusing day) on such a huge ship with so much to see and do onboard - it will be over before you've found your way around the ship! Hopefully, if it's popular, they will create longer cruises to enjoy this this part of the world AND enjoy the onboard facilities have fun :)
