:) We have apparantly booked in cabin 4030 on the starboard side of the IE for the 24th June 2010 cruise of the Med-we are fearful of situtation being a bad "choice" can any past be able to enlighten us whether it is good or bad deck to be in?

Also going through all the excursions the only non availabilty excursion is

PROPIANO can cruiser help us if there is any good trip ashore or wander around the City on one's own safely and maybe safely also?

Also as an afterthought can any one inform us whether the MARINA DI CARRARA stop is accessable via tender or wharf connection-many thanks

Hi Parthia,

We have been on Deck 5 for a couple of years and I think they are Identical and the only problem you might get will be if you are forward and there is a swell in the Med and the waves slap against the side of the ship, also very Quiet as you are away from the Hub of the ship.

Propiano is a new port of call for the IE and looking at Marina di Carra is a port with no Tenders as the ship looks as though it can Dock.

Enjoy your Cruise, I know I will

Thanks Rebel Rowser and Cymro for the info; just that the wife is asking

whether is there any Coin op washing facilities ashore at PALMA as we are doing a back to back cruise in the Med.or perhaps a facility to peg dry one's smalls in the shower cubicle of the cabin?

We found one provided on our previous cruise on the MSC LIRICA (after 4 days!)last year -thank you again

We got back on Saturday after last weeks canaries cruise. We were in 4022 and it was quiet and vibration free although we could hear the bow smacking through waves on the passge to and from Agadir (5m swell and 25mph winds). Much preferred that to being on 7, 8 or 9 which were being tossed about much more. The lifts were shut down one night because they could not cope.

People on upper decks paid a lot extra for cabins and balconies etc and they complained about noise from the entertainment decks.

Hi,

We were on 9 above Bounty Lounge but were OK as we were on the starboard side. But the people in the cabin opposite were right over the stage area and they said it was noisy there.

We liked the see-saw up and down though when in bed as we went through the swell. Rocked us to sleep.
