Hi,

Cruising with 3 other friends and will be in Nassau Saturday 6/5. Haven't had luck answering this question so was hoping someone would be able to help.

The four of us are planning on taking a cab to Atlantis and walking around the hotel to the areas that do not need a pass - casino and such. Once we've walked around, we'd like to enjoy the beach of the hotel. We're not looking for any meals included, just a simple day at the beach. Will we need to pay anything to just sit on Atlantis's beach?

Thanks!

You cannot enter the beach area with a pass, we just wanted to walk and take a look, no go

If you walk into the Atlantis and turn right, go to the very end of the hotel (a pretty long walk) and out the door. Next door is a hotel called the RIU. In back of the RIU and all the way up the beach, there is a public beach area that we found both safe and beautiful. There are plenty of private vendors renting chaise lounges for $10-$15 a day, umbrellas for $10 and there are a couple walk-up bars and snack shacks. The Atlantis beach was closed when we were there on April 1st, but this turned out to be a better, cheaper, more relaxing day. To leave, just walk back out in front of the RIU or back to the Atlantis (2 minutes) to catch a cab back to your ship...

The Paradise Island ferry lets you off under the toll bridge to the island. The walk to Atlantis is about 10 minutes depending on how fast you walk. You will be walking through an area with alot of shops and dining so if you get distracted add the time accordingly.:)
